The SOX starting pitching taken as a whole so far this season has been much better than I expected. And I'm quite sure many here feel the same way. The BP, however, except for a few arms, has been, for lack of a better word, disappointing.
I seriously doubt many starters so far this season have had back-to-back 7 inning starts. In fact, Pivetta's pitch count is unbelievably low. I still don't know if Pivetta's a good pitcher or just average, but he's been very impressive of late.
One thing about baseball over other team sports. A player can bring his baby with him on the mound and a player can wear his entire jewelry collection while playing.
