  1. To be fair, JD's 5 year contract has worked out much better than most of the SOX long-term contracts.
  2. I think the mediocre teams in the AL are equally matched. I expect a real panda fight for those WC positions.
  3. JD at the plate reminds me of a metronome.
  4. True, but I was referring to his physical ability to be there every 5th day. I don't have the same trust that will be true with the returning starters for the SOX.
  5. There is something worse than ESPN; it's ESPN 2.
  6. In defense of Pivetta, he's the only SOX starter I have any faith in going forward who will be capable of pitching every 5th day.
  7. Pivettaboutit! Just like the old days.
  8. When Stanton hits 2 balls as hard as he's hit them tonight, that definitely screams that the opposing pitcher has nothing.
  9. He's strictly a guess hitter.
  10. Ravetch is definitely terrible, but that's a plus for getting hired on ESPN.
  11. The only problem with this Yankems/SOX rivalry is it attracts the dregs, like ESPN and FOX.
  12. Conehead has a face and a voice that just makes one want to punch his lights out.
  13. If Cora brings in JBJ to relieve, Ref can play RF.
  14. Nothing wrong with these ESPN announcers that a tracheostomy for each wouldn't fix.
  15. Ref's obviously not in the line-up. Remember yesterday when I posted I wouldn't be a bit surprised if the faux genius benched him today?
  16. Straight and right down the middle. A pitch Story usually fouls off.
  17. Emergency replacement for JDavis. He's missing and nobody's looking for him.
  18. I feel bad for Ref. Obviously, he's stuck with the wrong manager.
  19. I apologize in advance, but I just can't stop myself: "WAR! What is it good for? Absolutely nothing." Edwin Starr
  20. You're preaching to the choir. I'm the choir.
  21. A big shout out to REF, also. Hopefully, Cora will play him everyday until Ref proves he isn't worthy.
  22. At 3 mil/yr he's a bargain at today's prices.
  23. He did and it wasn't meant as a slight. The SOX offense just needs all the help it can get.
