  1. Great at bat by JBJ.
  2. He can sublease Casas' apartment.
  3. The SOX are scoring runners on 2nd with no outs. Perhaps they have turned a corner.
  4. You watch enough games and you think you've seen everything. Not.
  5. Never saw that before.
  6. Do you have any advice for Dalbec?
  7. May the bunting begin.
  8. Actually, JBJ, from what I've seen, appears to be a very good bunter. I agree he should bunt more often, perhaps every time at bat.
  9. I'm not making any predictions in regards to Story. Especially after all the praise I piled on Verdugo earlier this season.
  10. No doubt there needs to be extension in this line-up. Hopefully, Story can be that guy.
  11. Time to move Story up to the 5 position in the line-up.
  12. I'm liking this Story more and more. Can't wait to see the movie.
  13. It was also made famous by Rocky & Bullwinkle.
  14. Not to be confused with the Kirwood Derby.
  15. SOX getting some good Durwood off of Kirby.
  16. Btw, Rich Hill's number 44 is sacred here in Syracuse, NY. It was worn at Syracuse University by Jim Brown, Ernie Davis and Floyd Little. The number was retired after the 1998 football season. Rob Konrad was the last player to wear it.
  17. Thanks to Nick, the BP should be well rested. And the 78 game streak comes to an end.
  18. Who's Kike? Oh, you mean Pops.
  19. Better take Hill out before his 78 game streak is broken.
  20. Baseball is a game of inches in every facet of the game.
  21. So based on team comparisons, I see all 4 games going extra innings.
  22. Based on pitching the SOX team ERA is 3.79. The M's team ERA is 3.82.
  23. Based on Team BA and Runs scored, these two teams are almost identical.
  24. Just did some offensive calculations for this season as of today. The combined BA's of Devers, JD, and Bogie calculate to .334. (407 AB's/136 HITS) The combined BA's of everyone else who's batted for the SOX calculate to .190. (848 AB's/161 HITS) The 4th highest BA on the SOX with 40 or more at bats belongs to VAZ at .225.
