  1. Not sure about Jethro Tull being a far far far greater omission. Tull was a damned good progressive rock band and PR&TR was a damned good straight ahead R&R band. They were from two different eras. They both should have been inducted a long time ago. It took DEEP PURPLE forever to get inducted. Then they waited until Lou Reed was dead before they inducted him. Dumb bastards.
  2. They also recorded a sequel titled LOUIE, GO HOME that was a regional hit, but never caught on nationally.
  3. And the SOX clinched the series.
  4. I just read where they are inductees of the Oregon R&R HOF.
  5. I agree. That's something that will never be said about me. My strong suit is Rock 'n' Roll and Rhythm & Blues.
  6. Is it me or was baseball a better game all around before the 'nerds' got involved?
  7. Familia another reliever where 3 outs is a bridge too far. Dugo's catch has kept this from being even more disastrous.
  8. Great catch by the guy who isn't good defensively according to Fking WAR.
  9. They were one of the few American rock bands that could compete with the British Invasion. And Mark Lindsay was a dynamic front man.
  10. Story hit that pretty deep fly to center with just his wrists. Of course, they're well-rested wrists.
  11. Great post, Vegas, but what are your feelings regarding Paul Revere & The Raiders not being in the R&R HOF?
  12. Listening to Paul Revere & The Raiders while watching game. IMHO, they should be in the R&R HOF. In fact, they should have been inducted a long time ago.
  13. That, too. I believe Ted Williams may have the highest career exit velocity in leaving the clubhouse.
  14. Since being traded to Boston, Pham leads MLB in average exit velocity.
  15. He's on the 10 day IL that started on Tuesday.
  16. Nice two strike stroke by Dalbec.
  17. Who are these guys in the red jerseys?
  18. 90 wins should get an AL team in the final spot for the PO's. The SOX would have to finish the season 29-7 including this game. That may be a mountain too high to climb.
  19. Dugo is just a damn good hitter and the SOX FO might be wise to make sure he stays in Boston for a while.
