    Actually, I've accepted the fact that Devers is what he is defensively. It's this long streak of clutchless(not a word, but I like it)at bats that pisses me off. He's supposed to be the offensive driver of this club, but when he's been really needed, he's just been a passenger.

    HR's are nice. A solo homer is like kissing your sister, where as a 3-run homer is like kissing Angie Dickinson in her prime. A grand slam is like getting past 3rd base.

    Ball arrived in plenty of time, but a terrible job by McGuire. But it's only defense and we all know how unimportant that is.
