  1. Duran Masa Turner(DH) Devers Dugo Casas Arroyo Wong Kike(SS) He's baaaack. Don't understand how a manager, who stresses defense, inserts Kike at SS again. Oh, well, maybe Kike will shine today; who knows?
  2. Paxton vs Stroman(RH) The Cubs start another RH pitcher, which definitely favors the SOX. Stroman is having a very good season, but so was Hendricks before last night's game. Bello and Paxton have been a great 1-2 punch in the SOX rotation. Go SOX!
  3. Based on the tie breaker, the Yankems are officially now in last place in the AL East. I know it's still early, but I just enjoyed posting that.
  4. What's really hurt the MLB talent pool for quite a while now is the fact that African Americans just aren't that involved in baseball anymore.
  5. A few years ago there was an idea that the Rays could play half their home games in Tampa and the other half in Montreal. I don't believe that's part of the new plan.
  6. Seriously, how many more shite teams does MLB need? Isn't there enough already? Oh, well, money trumps quality.
  7. Good win. Sad Jansen had to be used, but, it is what it is.
  8. Part of that excess of talent I posted above.
  9. Looks like Montreal obtaining a MLB franchise is getting closer to a reality. With all the excess talent in MLB, why not?
  10. This season has caused injury paranoia for SOX fans.
  11. Yankems losing 6-2 in top of 8th. O's and Jays both won. Rays postponed.
  12. I actually notice. It's like Haley's Comet.
  13. Well, I believe he's getting paid league minimum.
  14. When there's no wind in Chicago, that harkens the end of the world.
  15. That's pretty much the norm. The few times I see a chUMP call a good game I'll actually post it.
  16. Speaking of wind in Chicago, Dave Kingman, during a game in Chicago where the wind was blowing out to LF, crushed an inside pitch that ended up landing on the roof of a house far from Wrigley. The person living there was watching the game on the TV and heard the ball hit the roof.
  17. There's some wind in Chicago tonight. How rare is that?
  18. A defined quality start for Bello. Since the end of April, he has the 3rd lowest ERA in the AL.
  19. He's starting rehab games in a day or two. Whether it's at Woo or Portland, not yet determined.
  20. Best case for Story's return is around Aug. 15th.
  21. Turner turns it around. I'm leaving on a jet stream.
  22. Was that ruled an error? I believe double clutching the ball should be ruled an error.
  23. Bellinger and Seager both good hitting ex-Dodgers along with Turner and Dugo.
