  1. Nice grab and throw by Pham.
  2. Well, they do lead MLB in least bang for the buck.
  3. Kutter employs what is called a 'hybrid' wind-up. I guess that provides more pitches per gallon.
  4. McGuire has a 31% throw out rate.
  5. Royals must have not recognized that Plawecki isn't catching today.
  6. Kutter and Winck and 3 days of stink.
  7. He also said "it's getting late early."
  8. Let's just say that the plan was about as good as the movie.
  9. Imho, trading VAZ should be filed under PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE.
  10. I don't think it's Bloom's job to have the players ready to play.
  11. So besides catching he was supposed to do Cora's job?
  12. They also do well with 1st year managers. Are you listening JH?
  13. So you're saying the rebuild won't be until 2100? Man, I'm gonna have to quit smoking to be around for that.
  14. Probably the same as mine. An addiction to lemonade and pumpkin pie.
  15. Hosmer: "Hey, Alex how come you didn't let me pinch hit?" Cora: "This was your scheduled day of rest." Hosmer: "What the hell is that?" Cora: "Just something i like to do."
  16. There's really no player on this team I hate, but there is a manager I'm disliking more and more.
  17. Didn't see that coming, but shouldn't be surprised. SOX have made a season of this s***. Btw, why wasn't Hosmer pinch hitting in the top of the 9th? Was Hosmer actually being platooned with Dalbec or was this a Cora scheduled day of rest?
  18. The Cards won it all in 2006 after finishing the season 5 games over .500. Once you're in the POs' sometimes anything could happen, obviously.
  19. One glaring hint when a batter knows he is going bad is he will sprint to 1st base on ball 4.
  20. I predicted earlier this season that Dugo would finish the season with a BA somewhere around .280-.285. That may be the only prediction I might get right.
  21. Everything we've posted hinges on Hosmer staying and that certainly isn't a sure thing.
