  1. According to the Tigers' booth, in the history of their franchise the Sox have never scored 4 runs with 4 hits and 14 strike outs or more. Saw some history tonight.
  2. The next time Durbin goes fishing I hope the worms get their revenge.
  3. Does Durbin actually have a launch angle? It appears to be a negative angle.
  4. There's really a lot of mediocre teams in MLB so far this season.
  5. Just checked. The Sox are ranked 16th in LOB. They average 7.11 runners per 9 innings.
  6. You mean tonight or the entire season, so far? I know it's a very high number.
  7. Contreras is the best hitter on this team and he is a good hitter, not great.
  8. Based from what I've been seeing from both these teams, I'd rather be a Sox fan than a Tigers' fan. I'm not just talking about this series, but over the long haul.
  9. Sox are ranked 17th in MLB in strike outs per 9 innings. I was really surprised they weren't ranked lower. After this game their ranking may change.
  10. Contreras has definitely provided the Sox with excellent D at first and a good bat. We haven't had that in a long while.
  11. The wild cards are wide open even if the teams aren't all that good.
  12. There are only 3 teams in the AL with a won/loss record over .500. And one of those teams is only one game over .500.
  13. The AL Central reminds me of the 2006 NL Central when the Cardinals won the Central with an 83-78 record and ended up winning the WS.
