Story's absence has caused major problems for the SOX. What pisses me off is when Story was at Colorado everyone knew his throwing arm had weakened. Everyone but Bloom I guess. That should have been a signal that more problems were to come. Oh, well.
At this point the only difference I see between Casas and Dalbek is one bats left and one bats right. Oh, and Casas takes more pitches before the inevitable.
Bloom: "Ort will be DFA'd."
Cora: "Fine, but who's gonna do the barbecuing on our days off?"
Bloom: "No problem. I'll find another pitcher at Goodwill who has barbecuing experience."
The hard-handed SOX 2nd baseman didn't help either. Arroyo was removed from the game because of a tight right hamstring. I thought he was overdue for an injury.
