  1. Hey, 700, have you noticed how many times the adverb 'hopefully' is employed on these game threads? I know it's the adverb I've used more than any other.
  2. So you've never stayed at a Holiday Inn?
  3. Good for him. He needed a confidence booster.
  4. Good win! Go for the sweep tomorrow. Based on the weather, maybe I should replace sweep with mop up.
  5. Well, that sucks. Hopefully, it's nothing serious.
  6. I'm guessing Bra Man will be used under the same rules as a position player.
  7. He got 3 hits tonight, so I believe he's above .130. That gimme hit makes up a little bit for being robbed of a GS by the wind.
  8. Valdez has a nice hitter's swing. Level right thru the strike zone.
  9. I remember when Duran 1st came up to the SOX. He was being compared to a young Grady Sizemore. Maybe that wasn't as funny as 1st thought.
  10. Do we see Bra Man in the 9th? Maybe if the SOX can score a couple more runs.
  11. I know, but I was worried he had snuck back on the team.
  12. I hate 3 out innings when the SOX are winning.
  13. I thought Ort was DFA'd back to the minors.
  14. It's possible that Devers has been the worst hitter in the SOX line-up the last two weeks.
  15. This run barrage, unfortunately, can't last all season, so let's just enjoy it while we can.
  16. I was worried they weren't gonna get that 7th run tonight. I should know better.
  17. Certain players on the SOX are covering nicely as Devers struggles. Devers will be back to being Devers soon enough.
  18. I can't remember a more balanced SOX offense than the SOX are displaying at this point in the season.
  19. Tough break for Casas. If he wants to join the offense, I'm all for it.
  20. What's scary about this SOX offense is their best hitter has been in a slump for about two weeks.
  21. SOX are hitting Jays' pitchers hard, literally.
  22. Starting off like the Yankems last year. Hopefully, they will finish as badly.
  23. Quality start by Pivetta. Settled down nicely after the 2nd HR. His breaking stuff was very good.
