  1. Notin screws up another argument with a well-thought out post.
  2. I don't know if Dave Roberts is a genius, but I do know that w/o him being available to pinch run for Kevin Millar, the SOX probably lose to the Yankems in game 4 and, of course, no 2004 championship. I'll always admire Dave Roberts.
  3. A talented baseball team, like the Dodgers, will make their manager look like a genius. Kind of like how the 2018 SOX made Cora look like a genius.
  4. There must be something bad that happens during the game that is the manager's fault. I remember Joe Torre once said when he was managing the Yankems, "I just make out the line-up and then I get out of the way."
  5. 3 hour game tonight; just like the old days.
  6. The two best teams in baseball are in the NL. It really should be something when they play each other in the NLCS.
  7. One thing that can be said about the Dodgers; they spend a lot of money, but they do spend it wisely.
  8. Bullwinkle: "Hey, Rocky, watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat. Nothing up my sleve. Presto! Wrong hat."
  9. In Pivetta's defense he has been overused of late.
  10. I saw the error of my ways and did correct it.
  11. That s/b 3-0 count. I'm a bonehead.
  12. All of a sudden Cora is Captain Hook. Very good job by Kutter tonight.
  13. Devers is hitting .220 on outside pitches, so what does he swing at on a 3-0 count? Of course, an outside pitch. Very frustrating batter to watch.
  14. Story is just a solid athlete. If he was put in the OF, he'd probably be a great defensive outfielder.
  15. More pop-ups than an internet web site.
  16. Credit where credit's due. McGuire was a damn good pick-up by Bloom.
  17. Lead-off HR by Dugo and 2-run homer by Story.
  18. In 1996 Brady Anderson hit lead-off HR's in 4 games in a row, which is the MLB record.
  19. This game is like a family reunion.
