Because honesty is the best policy, I predicted the Sox would win 90 games this season. I believe ESPN had predicted the Sox winning 88.

The dropoff from Duran and Story plus Anthony and Mayer not performing like top prospects so far have been a major factor why the offense has been so impotent.

Having a very good starting staff and a very good defense, and being 7 games under .500 is ridiculous. No question that the Sox have the worst offense in the AL and arguably the worst in MLB.

The one advantage the Sox have playing the Braves is they're not playing them at home. With this Sox team it's a home field disadvantage.

From 1903-1918 the Sox won 5 championships. From 2004-2018 the Sox won 4 championships. So, using my fingers and toes, the next Sox championship will be in the year 2104. And they will still be playing at Fenway.

Fortunately, the Sox are not the only shite team in the AL. There's plenty.

They lost to a rag arm with a +6 ERA in the first game. There just isn't a starter bad enough that this team can score crooked numbers against.

I see where KC hit a HR against Rodon very recently. That was his 2nd of the season. He's not exactly tearing it up at WOO.

To get rid of Story the Sox will have to eat most of his remaining salary. No problem, just eat it and wash it down with a beer.
