  1. Btw, Wong's catch of that bunt was, for lack of a better word, Amazing.
  2. Also, Cole's ERA entering today's game was 2.76; it is currently 3.03.
  3. Btw, with today's win the SOX clinch the 13 game series against the Yankems. So they're 7-3 against the Jays and 7-1 against the Yankems. The SOX are 3 games under .500 against everyone else.
  4. Cole is 4-5 with a 5.86ERA against the SOX in 11 starts since the beginning of the 2021 season. He's given up 41 runs in 63 innings pitched. If that's not ownership, it's pretty damn close.
  5. For a lot of you this is not great news. It appears the the Dodgers/SOX game on Aug 25th will also be televised on Apple+.
  6. How about he's an average LF who's also hitting over .300. That would be good enough for most MLB teams.
  7. The batters are allowed one timeout during each plate appearance.
  8. The only plus watching the game on Apple+ is that I see some stats I'll never see on NESN.
  9. Actually I posted that Judge is their only threat. He's a very good hitter who can hit a good pitch.
  10. I think it's more related to their weak starters. But definitely a very weak lineup.
  11. On the reverse side they are 55-16 when ahead or tied after 6. This probably relates to how good their late relievers are.
  12. This interesting stat I caught during the game; the Yankems are 5-45 when losing after 6.
  13. Based on the rest of this Yankem lineup, Judge should have asked for 500 million.
  14. Most SOX pitches have been unhittable by the Yankem's weak lineup.
  15. Whitlock faces the only real Yankem threat and Kaboom.
  16. Cole starts tomorrow, but, hopefully, the SOX continue to own him.
  17. Yup, that was another offensive beast of a season.
  18. If by chance the SOX, Jays and Mariners end up tied for that last PO spot, the SOX go to the PO's.
  19. IMHO, the 2003 SOX had the best offense of any SOX team I'd ever seen. Bill Mueller was batting 8th and he ended up leading the AL in BA. V-tek was batting 9th on that team and he ended up with 85 RBI.
  20. Like I posted earlier, the more RH starters the SOX face going forward the better chance they have of being successful.
  21. Very good job by Bello tonight against, perhaps, the weakest hitting team in the AL. Once Bello gets command of his excellent stuff he's gonna be special.
  22. Hamilton magnifying how bad Brito was. Glad Boone didn't decide to open the game with this guy.
  23. It appears the SOX missed Story's glove more than his bat while he was out.
  24. Based on this AL rookie crop, I would think Bibee from Cleveland with a 9-2 W/L and an under 3 ERA would be the front runner at this point in the season. He also averages @ 6 innings per start.
