On the bright side the SOX appear to have 4 legitimate starters for next season, Also, there's 4 or 5 promising prospects who will get a chance during spring training. FO needs to strengthen the BP. If the SOX can stay reasonably healthy next season, it could be a fun 7 months.

If not winning the WS is considered a failure, then we are in the same boat as 28 other teams.

Of course both of these players played the most games for the SOX, which wasn't that hard to do.

Going forward, I'd definitely rather be a SOX fan than a Jays' fan. Jays look like a team who could be the new cellar dwellers in the AL East for a while.

I liked Youk as a ballplayer, but, imho, he's a nightmare in the booth. I'm getting the Jays' feed, so I'm not being tortured by the Youk.

Hey, Vegas, dig this. The SOX leadoff batter and the SOX number 9 batter are tied for 2nd in RBI for the SOX. You can't make this shite up.

There's also this 22 year older named Kristian Campbell, a top prospect, who may be competing for that 2nd base job, also.

The SOX FO will trade Masa and they won't get much in return unless they add another top prospect or eat a portion of his contract. Either way he will be traded to free up the DH slot. I, personally, will miss Masa because I like the way he plays the game. Always hustles.

Speaking of the Iron Man, O'Neil apparently wants 54 mil for 3 years, but he might take 48 mil. That's still a lot of money to give a guy who may play an average of 100 games a season.
