  1. I'll give Reyes a pass, mainly because I like his attitude on the field and, like I posted earlier, I'd like to see him start for the remainder of the season, but I won't give the SOX defense a pass for their miserable number of errors this season.
  2. I repeat SOX defense likes to keep pitchers on the mound as long as possible. This is in regards to the entire season, not just tonight's game. You do realize the SOX have played 126 games prior to this one.
  3. Reading comprehension would eliminate having to explain previous posts. Not referring to you.
  4. The SOX have one. His name is Martin. The SOX BP is ranked 16th and the Astros' BP is ranked 7th.
  5. Martin wasn't sharp, OK. When I posted that he's been 'unbelievable,' I was referring to the entire season. I believe he has an OPS+ of 250.
  6. That could have ended up Keystoney.
  7. Check out Martin's stats this season and get back to me. Do you like to argue just for argument's sake?
  8. I can't wait for Pressly to leave the building.
  9. Martin has been unbelievable so far this season.
  10. 29 pitch inning caused by faulty glove work.
  11. No one can argue that Story isn't an A+ defensive ballplayer.
  12. Martin should already be in the dugout enjoying a beer, but the SOX defense likes to keep their pitchers on the mound as long as possible.
  13. That's not scored an error, but, imho, it should be. I'm pretty sure Martin agrees.
  14. Hopefully that misplay doesn't affect the score.
  15. There's a lot of Abreu's in tonight's game.
  16. I agree with that. Stats don't lie, but they also don't tell the whole story.
  17. You don't see that everyday. Great catch by Whitlock. Batter was automatically out, but still.
  18. They all count until the SOX are mathematically eliminated. But this game counts a little bit more.
  19. Good defense and bad defense. Both effect the outcome of a ballgame. MAX, feel free to disagree. Is it 'affect' or 'effect'? Who cares?
  20. This game will answer some questions, win or lose.
  21. That's something one doesn't see everyday.
