  1. Another, there's so many, s***** chUMPIRE. A foul tip to his mask might improve his vision.
  2. Interesting stat regarding this 35-39 Reds' team; they are 30-1 when leading after 6.
  3. As unpopular as Dugo was as a SOX, no one ever complained about his defense.
  4. Vegas still holds this season's record of 5 straight. Might want to give him an extension on his contract. Btw, Vegas, is this your contract year? I believe 5 years at 5 million would be fair.
  5. Jays' payroll 40 million more than the SOX. Not much bang for the buck there.
  6. Never saw that before. SOX trying to find new ways to get injured.
  7. Those are their 'city connect uniforms.' Not many here are fans of the SOX 'city connect uniforms.'
  8. 4 errors tonight by the team that entered tonight's game with best fielding % in AL. Thank you, Toronto.
  9. I actually like Canada more than I do half the states in this country.
  10. The SOX should easily have had at least 9 runs this game. Lot of LOB's.
  11. Because Teddy took so many walks, he never had a 200 hit season. That's about as surprising as CCR never having had a #1 single.
  12. He's already back; that's why the SOX sent Criswell down.
  13. Very good start by the inconsistent Bello tonight.
  14. Bonds during an interview said that whether or not he took steroids he still had to hit the ball. He was unaware, I guess, that when he did hit the ball, it went a longer distance. Truly not a likable guy.
  15. Ted Williams, not surprisingly, had a lifetime OPS+ of 191.
  16. It'd be great if Romy Gonzalez could play 1st base.
  17. Is that for a career or single season? If it's for a career, I'd guess Ruth. If it's for a single season, I'd guess Bonds.
  18. Yup.That also explains why RBI are not part of the equation.
  19. A player with an OPS+ of 100 is considered average offensively. A player like Devers with an OPS+ of 155 means he's 55% better than the average offensive player.
