  1. Because there's 30 teams in MLB, I'll move Pivetta up to a number 4.
  2. At least Pivetta is consistent. He will always be a pitcher with a 4+ ERA. Surprisingly, his WHIP before tonight's game was at 1.114. Not anymore.
  3. The SOX are blessed with 2 #5's with Pivettaboutit and Bello.
  4. No matter what Bello does from here on out, he still going to be a rich young man, even after taxes. Better to be mediocre and rich than to be mediocre and poor. Pro sports can always make the former happen.
  5. You're welcome, Max, but timing is everything.
  6. The big highlight tonight was Wink's performance, saving BP arms.
  7. Bailey, one of the best pitching coaches around, apparently hasn't had much success with Bello. It happens; a team thinks they've got a stud and, instead, they've got a dud.
  8. That chUMP didn't deserve that. He did a good job tonight. Save those foul tips for the s***** ones, of which there are many.
  9. Very good job by Wink. He's earned a start.
  10. Tonight's best SOX pitcher is Wink. Thank you, Captain Obvious.
  11. Last night's game was Goodfellas. Tonight's game is Bad Boys.
  12. Last couple of games Fenway has turned into Coors Field.
  13. Maybe Wink should replace Bello for a while. I doubt he could do worse.
  14. OB, knowing how injury prone Tyler is, continually wants him to compete in the HR Derby. Use your head, OB.
  15. Perhaps Bello should volunteer for finger extension surgery to his right hand.
  16. Just like a 467 foot homer counts the same as a 300 foot homer(I'm looking at you Pesky Pole), losing 15-2 is the same as losing 3-2. A loss is a loss is a loss.
  17. A team could have very good hitting, excellent speed, a very good defensive OF, and an above average BP. However, none of those 4 things can make up for a bad defensive infield and inconsistent starting pitching. Missing Story(again), Casas and Gio contributes heavily to those two SOX weaknesses.
  18. What a difference a day makes. There's a thin red line between love and hate. I'm sure there's more songs I could use, but I'll stop with these two.
  19. If Gio hadn't gone down for the season, the SOX FO would have more flexibility in dealing with Bello. Right now, because of the pitching drought on the farm, Bello, sadly, is still their best option.
  20. Well, the SOX do have great OF depth. Probably the most OF depth in MLB.
  21. Get someone who can pitch up? You're talking about the SOX farm. Their best pitching prospect is going thru TJ surgery.
  22. Good news: It's early. Bad news: It's early.
