    True. I guess trading Chapman will depend where the Sox are at the TDL.

    Why do you want the excellent Chapman traded? That makes no sense.

    The money saved by trading Devers will be available to keep Skenes for a long time. IMHO, Skenes is the target and the Sox will offer the Pirates a deal they can't refuse.

    IMHO, Devers hasn't been that happy to play in Boston since they let his best friend X-man go. Removing Devers from 3rd was the final straw for Devers. Like Moon posted some of these players the Sox got in return will be part of a large package to get Skenes.

    I disagree Moon. If the Sox really want Skenes, they have the tradable players to get him. I'm betting they will .

    This trade reminds me of the Nomar trade in '04.

    I think this trade is a little similar to the Nomar trade. Neither appeared happy to be on the Sox and were causing bad vibes to the rest of the team.

    Both Bello and Devers seem to play their best against the Yankems. Devers has now hit 31 HR's against the Yankems, 9 more than the 2nd place guy.
