  1. The numbers, which are falling off, may persuade you into believing the Sox have a good offense, but my eyes say different.
  2. A pitcher on his way up vs a pitcher on his way out. Should be interesting.
  3. The days of hard ass managers appears to be over. Pampering the players is where baseball is now.
  4. The last hard ass manager the Sox had was Dick Williams. That's why YAZ asked Yawkey to have him fired.
  5. I'm excited about September. That's when Spinal Tap II is being released.
  6. MLB players really have it tough. Hell, they're not even held accountable when they screw up. I'm old enough to remember when managers were managers and not the players' best friend. Yes, I'm referring to you Alex.

  8. If Brez does anything, it will be a surprise.
  9. Calling the Rays and the Yankems good at this point of the season is quite a stretch. In fact, the Yankems may be in worse shape than the Sox.
  10. Similar to those old Life cereal commercials featuring little Mikey. "He likes it." Fk Devers.
  11. They'd have to finish this season at 31-26. Seems doable as long as Crochet and Chapman can remain strong.
  12. Does anyone out there believe this Sox team will finish at 86-76?
