There are some party poopers here that want the SOX to win 79. And there's one Angry Bird here who doesn't want the SOX to win any more games, so they can get a better draft pick.

Btw, you being a Twinkies' fan probably are not aware of this, but if the SOX finish the season at 2-7, they will be 78-84. It would be the 3rd season in a row where they finished at 78-84. I seriously doubt a team having the same W/L record for 3 straight years has ever happened before. So there's that.

What we have tonight is a match up of two mediocre teams. Neither deserves to make the PO's, but, obviously, deserves has nothing to do with it.

Wednesday night a Rays' pitcher had an immaculate inning against the SOX. Three K's on nine pitches. Last night one hit by the SOX prevented them from having a combined perfect game pitched against them.

The last I'd heard the SOX were 2nd in most K's. Who the hell passed them? I mean it wasn't like the SOX were laying down.

Kevin Cash in the post game interview was really impressed on how well his pitching did in this series against that, now get this, 'dangerous' SOX line-up. He even mentioned Devers by name.
