    JD can't resist those low outside pitches. But when the pitcher doesn't get it low or outside enough, JD makes them pay. Nola just has outstanding control.

    Except for Sale, I haven't been impressed by a pitcher this year as much as this Nola guy. He's only 25 and came up thru their system.

    Nola is probably the best pitcher the SOX have faced so far this year. His stats don't lie. He throws an easy 95mph.

    Just heard that ex-SOX 3rd baseman Travis Shaw has been moved to 2nd base because of Brewers' acquisition of Moose from KC.

    The SOX are now 26-5 in day games. 48-28 in night games. Unbelievable.

    With all the talk about Barnes it might be nice to acknowledge Eovaldi's excellent performance today.

    I don't think Barnes is terrible, but I do think that Barnes will never pitch a KOJI inning.

    Totally agree. But Cora doesn't always agree with us. There's an understatement.

    I remember when Ted Wiliams, who hated striking out more than he hated sports writers, threw his bat in the stands after K'ing. He hit a woman in the head. Of course, back in those days there weren't that many people in the seats to protect her.
