I just hope the BP's arms don't fall off before the playoffs are over. So many times they throw 20+ pitches to complete an inning. That adds up.

When Nunez plays 3rd and Kinsler's on 2nd, the SOX infield defense is excellent.

It's astounding how badly the Yankems play against the shittier teams in the league. In fact, they were lucky to win last night. And the Yankems play a lot of s***** teams between now and the end of the season. What should be an advantage for them appears to be just the opposite. Love it.

Which also computes to 8-38 when were not leading through 8 innings. Both are astounding numbers.

All those Yankem fans in Miami must be sad. Boo Hoo. In fact, it's almost like a home game for the Yankems.

One thing that could help the SOX against the tribe if they meet in the playoffs is that Cleveland doesn't appear to have a LH starter. However, they do have a few in the BP, including Miller.

Our BP is killing our BP.

Such a great arm, sad it's wasted on Kelly.

Mitch doing everything except selling hotdogs.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    He's not alone.

Encarnacion is a better baserunner when he hits HR's.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Thanks. That was truly embarrasskin.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
It would definitely be the best split of the season.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Btw, kudos to MVP78 for predicting the SOX would come out of their swoon tonight.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
X-man has been a Marvel tonight.

I don't think they'd give it to Hembree, Bob. But it's me saying that, so consider the source.

WTF! My lying eyes. I'm going to have my eyes checked, asap. I wish I could lie and say I was drunk. Please disregard my ignorant PH posts. Do what you want with my other ignorant posts.

You know as well as me that all hitters, even the great ones, go thru a slump during the long season. JD's in a little slump as is Betts.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Great at bat by Swing along with Mitch.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Yup. Actually, no. LH on the mound, RH batter in the dugout. Just going with the odds.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
At least I didn't wait to ask that question after Mitch was up.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Well, that answered my question.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Why isn't Pearce pinch-hitting?
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
If Betts is having a power shortage, better now than at the end of September.
