  1. With the BP killer on the mound for the SOX they can't afford to give up outs like that.
  2. Andrew B. runs the bases like I play the violin. Very badly.
  3. I like how JD hasn't allowed Fenway to change his approach at the plate. To echo other posters, he was a great acquisition for the SOX.
  4. Neither the SOX or the Yankems are .700 ball clubs. Both teams will end up with @95 wins. It will be a dog fight all year.
  5. Btw, if I was reading these posts not knowing the SOX won/lost record, I would think they were 13-28.
  6. And we all know about Sale's history of September swoons. I think Cora would want to reduce Sale's innings this year to avoid tired arm syndrome in September, but unless the other starters show consistency, this may not be possible. Also, there's the inconsistent BP, which doesn't help.
  7. So you disagree that SOX FA's of recent years haven't been a disappointment. Paranoid much?
  8. A great FA pick-up for the SOX. Something that has eluded them for quite a while.
  9. I think it's safe to say that every starting catcher has a better glove than Sanchez. He's brutal defensively.
  10. I believe the SOX line-up can afford a poor hitting catcher. Maybe they can package JBJ and Swihart in a trade. Pedey's return should lengthen the line up.
  11. So much vile for a team that's 28-12. I wonder what ORIOLES' TALK must be like?
  12. Wrong. I'll try avoiding attempted humor here. This is a tough crowd.
  13. Bad attempt at humor. Geez.
  14. It's about time Betts started hitting.
  15. If a player who swings from both sides of the plate can't hit either way, shouldn't he be called a switch batter?
  16. Poor Swihart. Cora hardly uses him and today he puts him up against one of the best pitchers in baseball.
  17. Hey, the SOX are 28-12, which is pretty amazing considering the SP's, the BP, and the bottom of the line-up. I'm sure these glitches will catch up to the SOX, but for now I really can't complain.
