  1. Baseball is called a team game, but I disagree. It's an individual game played on a team.
  2. The SOX are now 15-3 in WS play since 2004.
  3. How about a shout out to Mitch! I owe him an apology for all the negative things I've said about him recently.
  4. Someone mentioned that if Roberts loses this series, he will be fired. I tend to agree. One can argue whether or not he's a good manager, but he definitely is a class act.
  5. I'm not sure he's burnt out. Like I posted earlier, he seems to be less intense when it's not an actual save. He was pretty much like that during the regular season.
  6. Giving up, imho, is turning off the TV when the game was 4-0. I doubt any of the posters here did that.
  7. Kimbrel is a legit closer; he's just not the closer he used to be. In his defense, most closers don't last as long as Kimbrel has. I doubt he'll be back next year, but he was a big factor during the regular season.
  8. Should have swept these *******s.
  9. Could have swept these *******s.
  10. More than likely after this WS some other fans will be watching Kimbrel next season.
  11. Unless it's actually a save situation, Kimbrel usually shits his pants.
  12. Pearce is an animal. Love his approach at the plate. He's a keeper.
  13. Been awhile since the SOX scored on a WP. I'll also accept a passed ball or balk.
  14. Jesus is unavailable tonight.
  15. His reputation proceeds him.
  16. Impressive to score 5 runs w/o any contribution from your 3 best hitters.
  17. Kelly's got BALLS and strikes.
  18. I'm old enough to remember when a lot of players made more money winning the WS than they made during the regular season.
  19. Forgot to add Bogus to that list.
  20. JD and Betts; 0 for Los Angeles.
  21. Since Beni decided to be a LF slap hitter, he's lost his ability to elevate pitches to RF.
