    How underachieving has JD been so far this season? Here's some stats that might magnify this. Betts leads off and is hitting .284 with 72 BB's. Devers is batting 2nd and is hitting .322. X-man is batting 3rd and is hitting .311. JD is batting clean-up and has 49 RBI. That low number of RBI, my friends, is disgusting.

    I'm sure that John Henry's tax cuts have more than made up for whatever wasted money he's already spent on this team.

    I doubt JD would be attractive in a trade mainly because of his opt out clause.

    This is totally a guess, but I believe he spends too much time in the weight room. This could also explain his speed having decreased this season.

    If he returns to last year's level before this season ends(highly unlikely), he will opt out.

    I can't see anything wrong with JD's mechanics. He's still taking a deep breath before he approaches the plate.

    I'm guessing that Price didn't have sufficient time to warm up tonight.
