  1. I agree. But that could still leave the score at 3-3 after 6 innings.
  2. Heard this stat earlier today. When a batter on a ML team hits a 3-run homer, his team wins 80% of their games. When a pitcher posts a quality start, his team wins 70% of their games.
  3. C. Sale vs R. Lopez BENI BETTS JD X-MAN DEVERS CHAVIS MORELAND T. LIN (CF) LEON
  4. The error caused Brasier to split his concentration between the runner on 1st and the batter. That's never a good thing.
  5. Some people are anal about name spelling, Tyler.
  6. Tuukka. My bad. Glad you caught it. You're better than Devers. Btw, I'll be checking for errors in your future posts. Speaking of Devers, the best thing I can say about him as an infielder is that he'd make a good DH.
  7. Well, there was one hero last night for Boston sports; Tuuku Rask! Go Bruins!
  8. I actually have OB muted. I obviously like Chavis at 2nd over Nunez, Holt, Pedey, or Linn.
  9. I remember when a lot of us were anticipating him getting healthy and really improving the BP. Oh, well.
  10. Nice play by Chavis. Keep me in coach, I'm ready to play everyday.
  11. Why is Chapman playing 3rd? Ans: Because he can hit and field.
  12. Glad to see that the kids weren't drinking beer.
  13. One last thing about Chavis. Most of April a lot of posters here, including myself, were complaining about the SOX lack of offense. Chavis already has 4 dingers and now some posters are complaining about his 2nd base play.
  14. Btw, do you know why Sax and Knoblock were playing 2nd, even with their errors? Because they could hit. Why is Devers playing 3rd? Because he can hit.
  15. As for Chavis playing 2nd base, does anyone here remember Steve Sax and Knoblock? At least Chavis doesn't have a phobia about throwing the ball to 1st.
  16. He's been waiting for DD's call for quite a while.
  17. The only everyday player on the A's worth a shite is Chapman.
  18. He's definitely over-stayed his welcome. Make Pearce the DH.
  19. Funny. When no one else was hitting, JD was. Now when everyone is hitting, well, you know.
  20. Something to do with 'higher' education.
