A Sox spokesman who knows JH quite well said today that JH isn't interested in the Sox having a 45% chance of making the PO's. He's mainly concerned about the chances of winning the WS.

Sounds about right. JH saw that the Sox are given a 2% chance of winning the WS, so he's not going all out.
