  1. The SOX already have a D-HERN.
  2. That 'seams' more than reasonable.
  3. Winning a WS is so important for a franchise that if that team does overpay a player for a long-range contract (5 or more years) and said player is intricate in that team winning even one WS, I'm thinking that ownership wouldn't consider it an overpayment. Of course, in this case I'm referring to Price.
  4. No doubt X-man is having an all-around great season and he, also, would be a strong consideration. Interesting, that he was a last minute replacement pick for the all-star game.
  5. There's 39 games remaining and a lot can happen. One of those things that could happen is Devers being voted AL MVP. How ridiculous would it be that the AL MVP didn't get picked for the vapid All-Star game?
  6. Paul came up thru the SOX organization.
  7. Taking 2 of 3 from a hot Guardians' team was impressive.
  8. 39 games remaining and, imho, the SOX have to win 30 of them to have any shot at the PO'S. Impossible? no. Improbable? yes.
  9. Unfortunately, the road show is gonna be over for a while.
  10. The SOX may follow Tampa's lead and go with 2 'openers' every 5 days.
  11. Nice job. Cashner looking to be a viable option in the pen.
  12. Actually, I believe throwing curves and sliders puts more strain on the elbow than fastballs.
  13. I was referring to his apparent lack of effort. I think you knew that.
  14. Why not challenge it? Is it because Tito didn't challenge earlier and Cora wants to be like Tito?
  15. I guess the SOX could use EO the way other teams used Andrew Miller.
  16. If there's a such thing as throwing an easy 98, EO is probably the closest to it.
  17. Thanks. I probably should have asked if the SOX were ever over .500 on the road and under .500 at home?
  18. No reason to throw him anything else.
  19. Anyone here remember the SOX ever being better on the road than at home? I can't.
