  1. Again, going with the pitch. Gotta love it.
  2. 1st base is open, so instead of throwing a slider or curve low and outside to JD, the pitcher throws a FB down the middle. Do the pitchers and /or catchers actually pay attention?
  3. 4 of Verdugo's 5 hits this year have been doubles.
  4. Dalbec definitely has a major league glove; hopefully, he'll develop a major league bat.
  5. I like how many of the SOX batters are going with the pitch as of late.
  6. That great defensive play by Devers in the 1st looms large.
  7. E-rod made a couple of mistakes and paid dearly. Imho, the BIG difference between a great pitcher and a good pitcher is that a great pitcher gets away with more mistakes.
  8. Some things never change. Check out my post on JD.
  9. I wonder if hypnosis would cure JD from going after the low outside pitch? It's definitely his Kryptonite.
  10. Hopefully, Cora doesn't 'baby' X-man too much this year. SOX can't afford his bat and glove out of the line-up.
  11. One thing about E-rod is that the SOX tend to score a lot of runs when he starts.
  12. Home plate umpiring is at the same pathetic level as NHL refereeing.
  13. Looks to me that he's still suffering from 'tired arm syndrome.'
  14. Strange that there's no game on Friday. Also strange that X-man would have today off with no game tomorrow. Unless he's injured. Hopefully not.
  15. Sweeping the Rays, although it's early, is huge.
  16. True. We don't have to wait long to get some revenge on the O's.
  17. Offensively and defensively the SOX are very good. It's that third ingredient that's lacking, which will hurt. Will Sale return? How long before E-rod is injured again? Kudos to EO for his performances so far.
  18. With Verdugo in the line-up the SOX 1-6 is a very good stretch of hitters. 7-9?
  19. Don't know how many games this SOX team will win this year, but ya gotta love the enthusiasm of this team. Also, it's obvious that VAZ, thru hard work, has made himself into a top-shelf hitter.
  20. He's made a career of it.
