Cora: "Matt, I'd like you to pitch in the 9th inning, but you're not the closer."
  2. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I should have been more specific and said 'from us posters.'
  3. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Seriously, has any player on the SOX over the last few years taken more shite from SOX fans than Matt Barnes?
  4. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    That would be a triWTF.
  5. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Dalbec; power and speed. Well, as of now, at least speed.
  6. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Of course, that's hard to avoid if your team is consistently getting 5 or less innings from the starter.
  7. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I think it's always a gamble when you ask a reliever to go more than one inning.
  8. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Box of chocolates. One never knows who's going to be effective from the pen and Taylor proved that theory right.
  9. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I'm one of the posters here who doesn't believe that Cora is the greatest manager who ever lived.
  10. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
He didn't learn from the Hernandez mistake.
  11. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
On the same note, more innings than I expected from Richards.
  12. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Clean-up in aisle 5.
  13. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Bullpens are like a box of chocolates.
  14. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I really like the way this line-up is set up right now. Obviously, things could change.
  15. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
So who should lead off? I'm just guessing that Kike's his best option.
  16. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Not so long ago there were a handful of throwers reaching 99mph; now there's a truckload. What happened?
  17. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
I forgot about that. My bad.
  18. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
    Sale who? Only kidding.
  19. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Looks like the O's offense will break their 5 game streak of 13 or more K's.
  20. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
To be competitive this year the SOX are gonna have to obtain more 6 inning starts.
  21. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
Not sure keeping Hernandez in was a good move. Get a scoreless inning from him, count your blessings, and move to the next guy.
  22. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
He is, but he doesn't like to be called Serious.
  23. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
They could panic and replace him with Chavez, the hammer.
  24. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
If the SOX hitters 1-6 can continue to produce, the SOX can be patient with Dalbec.
  25. SPLENDIDSPLINTER
The only guy in the pen who has a specific time to be called is Josh. The time is when the SOX have at least a 7 run lead.
