  1. Two things that have been consistent in most games that E-Rod starts 1)high pitch count and 2) SOX score a lot of runs.
  2. A robo ump wouldn't have called that a strike unless it was malfunctioning.
  3. I was a potential 5 tool guy, but I could never perfect the use of an axe.
  4. Blind squirrel philosophy is pretty reliable.
  5. When it comes to Renfroe's and Cordero's bats, one must have strong faith in the 'blind squirrel' philosophy.
  6. E-Rod(4-0) vs J.Lyles(1-2) Continue to GO SOX!
  7. Win 17 every month and that totals 102.
  8. Good news for the SOX future; they haven't played the Tigers yet. They're not GREEEEEEAT!
  9. So you're saying Dysons really suck when it comes to longevity?
  10. Dalbek right now is a Bissell; he doesn't suck as much as the other 2.
  11. Renfroe's a Hoover and Cordero's a Dyson.
  12. Ariharrable. Guy should be throwing in the HR Derby competition.
  13. Btw, there are some batters who can't hit good or bad pitching. Hell, there are even some teams.
  14. Good pitching beats good hitting. Good hitting beats not good pitching. Game isn't that complicated.
  15. Other question is why have Franchy and Renfroe?
  16. EO vs Arihara SOX due to put up some crooked numbers.
  17. I know it's a broken record, but sometimes you have to give credit to the opposing pitcher. Like when we give credit to our pitchers when they pitch a good game against a good team.
  18. Just finished watching the game and not much to comment on. Good pitching beats good hitting as the SOX offense heads south to join the rest of the league. Actually, the only SOX batter who consistently hits good pitching is Devers, which is why I continue to post that he's the best hitter on this team. Devers' major weakness is his weak grasp on the mental part of the game. Not covering 3rd causing that bad throw to advance the runner is just another example of his mental lapses. Hopefully, tomorrow's Rangers' pitcher is not good and the SOX can put up some crooked numbers. Could blame the loss on jet lag, but I'm more inclined to tip my cap at Gibson;he had excellent stuff tonight. Nice job, also, by Perez.
