  1. Devers says f*** your ASG.
  2. I see he volunteered to appear in the HR derby. That should further mess up his swing.
  3. I wonder if he asked Cora to be taken out?
  4. BJ's announcer just said that Devers is having a career year. Hey, knucklehead, he won't be 23 until late October.
  5. It seems to me that most left-handed batters have pretty swings.
  6. I've got the xtra innings package and for some reason the HD station is only doing the audio. I've been watching it on standard, where all the players look like they've gained 50 pounds.
  7. Hopefully I'm wrong, but Beni won't be the 1st player in baseball history who fizzled out after a couple of seasons. If the SOX are gonna trade him, they shouldn't wait too much longer. Everyday his value drops.
  8. Worst in history? The season isn't even over yet. They could turn this around. Of course, I'm only kidding.
  9. Just heard on the BJ's feed that the SOX BP has given up 45 HR's so far this year. Make that 46.
  10. Are you positive it was assists and not errors?
  11. VAZ! He has definitely arrived as a consistent hitter.
  12. The best thing I can say about Stuart's defensive skills is that he would have made a good DH.
  13. Boog Powell of the O's was smooth at 1st base.
  14. Oh, wait. I forgot who the manager is.
  15. X-man and Brock saved that inning from being worse.
  16. Anyone here old enough to remember Dick Stuart? Perhaps the worst defensive 1st baseman in the history of baseball.
  17. Nice play by Brock. He's out.
  18. In the future, Vegasbob, just say Josh. They're brothers with different mothers.
  19. Also, unlike a few SOX players, Chavis can play everyday w/o the use of bubblewrap.
  20. Chavis was playing mostly 3rd base at Pawtucket. The SOX bring him up and place him at 2nd, where for the most part, he didn't embarrass himself. Then they moved him to 1st, where again, except for London, he has done a decent job. And considering all these adjustments he's still doing better than average at the plate. I give the guy credit for doing what most rookies aren't asked to do.
  21. C'mon, Vegasbob. MC Hammer has given the SOX more offensively than Moreland and Pearce. Of course, DD could send Hammer down so we could see more of Nunez.
  22. Devers is ranked 9th in MLB in average exit velocity at 94mph.
  23. Ask any GM in MLB which SOX player would he love to have the most. And the answer is, wait for it, Devers.
