    Tyler Skaggs is the 2nd young pitcher who died while a member of the Angels. In 2009 Nick Adenhart was killed in a car accident by a drunk driver.

    Actually, there's a better chance of finding a quality pitcher that way then finding one who went thru the SOX organization.

    I think during the ASG break the SOX should have an open tryout for relief pitchers. Just come to Fenway and show them what you got.

    If the relatively new axiom is that the team's best hitter should bat 2nd, than the SOX are spot on.

    True, but as lame as the ASG is, it is a place where a great player like Devers can be recognized by others besides SOX fans. That Betts made the team and Devers didn't really proves the lameness of it.

    It seems like at the same time his hitting came around so did his defense. I don't know; he may have made a deal with an entity where payback will be a bitch.
