    At this point the SOX are down 3-0, which seems to be normal of late. I'm worried about BJ's pitch count.

    Sale will miss the remainder of season. So, this will be the 2nd season in a row where he will have missed a month or more of the season. Not helpful.

    DD just called me to start. I'm on my way to Fenway as we speak. He only wants me to throw 50 pitches, so that should get me thru the 1st inning.

    As of right now Devers has 301 total bases with 36 games remaining. Trout has 272 total bases. Before the steroid era having 400 or more total bases in a season was very rare. It won't be easy, but Devers has a shot at it. His current slugging % is .598.

    Btw, Betts has a higher slugging % and higher OPS than the Phillies' 300 million dollar hillbilly.

    After an off day tomorrow, the SOX will be back to playing a major league team on Tuesday night at Fenway.
