  1. 84 mph fastball. That's Velveeta cheese.
  2. Imagine Richards pitching to Eddie Gaedel.
  3. Baseball rules state a batter must have a bat when he's in the batter's box. Even if he is only 3 feet high.
  4. No! No! A thousand times NO.
  5. Eck has a short memory. Ryu, Toronto's starter yesterday, was throwing around 85 mph.
  6. With the SOX 3, 4 and 5 starters you may get that feeling a lot this season.
  7. Btw, I really love the idea of 'resting' one of the team's hottest hitters.
  8. Bichette better not lose his bat.
  9. This actually is a Porcello-like start. Give up a bunch of runs early and then settle down. Porcello also benefited from a lot of runs by the SOX when he started. Hopefully, the SOX can extend Richards the same courtesy.
  10. Interesting that the Yankems signed Kluber to a one year 11 million dollar contract.
  11. According to the internet he signed a one year, 10 million contract.
  12. It's still early in the season; maybe Richards will 'bloom' later.
  13. I guess there's 10 million reasons why Richards will stay in the rotation.
  14. I guess time will tell. It always does.
  15. E-Rod and EO and 3 days of 'Oh, No!'
  16. He doesn't throw; he pitches. Too bad that 2nd HR off of E-rod couldn't have been charged to Cora. But, the players like playing for Cora, and, imho, that's Cora's biggest strength as a manager.
  17. SOX in 1st and Yankems in last. How great would it be to see that on the evening of Oct. 3rd?
  18. Good to know. He has been darn consistent so far this year. Kudos to EO.
  19. Damn, I was hoping EO would go 7 just because it could be said that a RED SOX starter did go 7 once this year.
  20. Devers is a delight to watch at the plate. He should wear a 'warning sign' on his jersey.
  21. Usually, all teams have some weaknesses in their make-up, but LA doesn't appear to have any. If that team stays fairly healthy they will be an immovable object.
  22. Fortunately for the RED SOX and other contenders in the AL there is no dominant team. That's not the case in the NL.
