    When a team doesn't win the WS, that's considered a failure. With that in mind the Sox have had the fewest failures of any team in MLB so far in this century.

    Weak hitting Yankems beat the weaker hitting Rangers 3-2. I believe I heard the Yankem announcer mention that the Rangers have a. .358 slugging percentage at home this season .

    Funny you posted that because I'm watching the Yankems/Rangers game and Rodon was pitching. I said to myself Rodon makes Rodan look handsome.

    Speaking of 1st baseman, Bobby Dee has severed ties with the Brewers and is now a FA. It appears most likely that Bobby will be playing professional ball overseas. Good luck to Bobby. I always thought he gave his best and he seemed like a good guy.

    Based on Mayer's injury history do you think the Sox may delay until next season to offer him an extension. His wrist problem I'm sure has the FO concerned.

    I was a Sonny Jurgenson fan. When he played for the Eagles, I was an Eagles' fan. When he was traded to Washington for Norm Snead, I became a Washington fan.
