  1. They could have been joking, but Hanley took a LONGGGGGGG look back & was yapping at the ump after that pitch. I got the feeling that Sucre said something to Hanley that got under his skin. Maybe, "just get in the box & stop your bitching.?" Who knows, but Hanley was pissed, & they were jawing.
  2. Just a 51 year Sox fan from Boston. Love the Sox. It's a bit more than an obsession. Tough having nobody out here on the west coast to talk Sox. Move out here at 20. I can live without talking the B's (another passion). There are always plenty of clinging Pats & Celtics fans to jaw with anywhere. BUT the Sox are life itself. 35 years out here without a regular daily fix. Gets pretty tough!
  3. Hanley is PISSED about something!!! Seems he was upset about that LOW & on the outside of the plate strike, & said something to the home plate ump. Looks like he started getting into it with the C. Sucre
  4. Excellent play by Devers!
  5. Having played a lot of baseball, I can tell you that leg training has historically been neglected in this sport. i was lucky enough to also play a LOT of soccer & hockey, so I didn't have the same leg fatigue & leg injuries other guys who played primarily baseball had. No idea about the mlb, but in baseball, they often stressed strength, stretching, and burst sprint running. Not good enough. Those who don't do consistent 'distance' running, along with all the other, are almost guaranteed to have repetitive fatigue issues. Baseball guys in general don't like distance running. That is a gross generalization, but it is far too common. That is a huge mistake for any guy. Especially those who rely on speed. The big guys too. Too many pull hammies on that sprint to 1st, or even when turning on the boosters to beat a play at any other base. As for Mookie? I have no idea what his training is like.
  6. I'll see that, and raise you to 102 -105
  7. Dude. That AAA team has some "wicked good" pitching. Lighten up Francis ! we got this! The bumps will be frustrating as hell, and I too will FREAK OUT on somebody! BUT this team is no fluke!
  8. TOO MUCH PANIC here! Pitching will be fine. Beni is gonna light it up soon. HE IS going to turn a corner, & LIGHT IT UP! JBJ will settle in. His D is incalculable ! Hanley & Mooreland are looking better than could have been predicted, although of course I did Nuner will be just fine until Pedey's return X-Bo is on the precipice of becoming the ALL-STAR he is destined to become Mookie is a top 10 mlb guy. Runs, rbi's, D up your arss all day long! ALL-STAR +++ I liked what I saw recently from JDM in the outfield, and HIS BAT WILL carry the Sox come May, June, July, Aug .......... Devers is gonna struggle, BUT THE KID ALWAYS HAS BIG POP POTENTIAL! Gotta have Mike Lowell work with him alot!!!! Vaz? No doubt his bat has sucked! BUT.... I THINK he will start to turn it on soon. Pitching will be top 7 In the mlb, and likely much better. Sox will go far in the Post-Season, and likely win a World Series. It's all good!
  9. Yeh! I feel like they rushed Pom back without any need. E - Rod & V - Quez were doing just fine! I would like to see them send Pom down to figure out his s***, & see if he is in fact tiping his pitches?
  10. Sale will be fine Price will be up & down. Many thought we bought an ace for TOP dollar, instead we got a pretty good #3. Porcello still looks pretty steady. A - Rod looks like a very good #5!!!! V-Quez is looking great. Wright? idk? But his return can't hurt, especially if we hear about more 'tingling.' Pom will be fine! Nice #4 once he gets his s*** straight. Our pitching will be fine. Better than most.
  11. I get that other people see it differently, but in fairness I'm not sure they fully understand that I'm always right?
  12. Head on the ball, & go with the pitch
  13. LOL :0 Yeh. Ho hum. Not too bad. I'd like to see him bunt more, but not too too bad?
  14. I'd be pretty pissed if I were Price. Did it appear to either take a bad bounce, or (as I saw it) take a good slice of the grass? Yep. BUT, any way you slice it, he sold out hard on overrunning it to set himself up for a quick throw home. If he plays it conservatively, he easily makes the play. Maybe not even close on a throw home, but he easily makes the play on the ball. It's a tough break, but I 100% disagree with the official scorer. If I'm Price, Im pissed!
  15. They were mocking JBJ as needing to go "to the cry room," after the error change on the TB NETWORK. I don't know what that was about, but whatever their meaning, they are right about one thing. It was absolutely an error. A though one, but still an error.
  16. You guys do realize that the ball only took 1 bounce and was still in the air after the bounce when it went by him. He didn't read the spin on the ball. Sold out on playing to the left of the ball, anticipating a quick pick & throw home. He overshot, but had 100% sold out for the throw home. 100% error. A tough break, but he absolutely misread the spin.
  17. You are kidding? Right? That's pretty funny :0 I get it.
  18. WTF just happened to JBJ, & where the f*** was the backup from Beni?
