These were the numbers Vas put up last year. Now, I too am happy to see Swi stepping up just when really needed! I'm happy for him, & I'm happy for the Sox I don't know what's up with Vaz this year? He hasn't looked right all year long. idk why he's gone so cold? He's never Been a great hitter, but not bad either. Last year? Not too shabby!

75 - 34 = .688 52 games left x .600 = 32 more wins. Sox finish with 107 , that's about the best we can hope for? Play .688 ball all the way, & we hit 111 I don't see that happening with our growing pitching woes. Play .500 the rest of the way, and we hit 101. Still a great regular season, but we likely are passed by the Yanks.

No doubt Cora is doing a great job of keeping ALL the guys involved, motivated, & happy. BUT, I have a feeling this is a year that has come together with a lot of nice addition, subtraction, and kids growing up. Perhaps the BIGGEST impact added is JDM? Sure, he's quantifiable in stats, but I think he's added so much more value than just his talent and stats. He seems to love to teach, & the kids seem eager to listen. Being around true greatness makes others want to do better. They see the work it takes, and that rubs off. Sale rubs off on the whole pitching rotation. Mookie's rise rubs off on all the young guys. Subtracting Hanley was also key. It let's other guys like Mooreland know that THEY too are key to the team success. Guys are growing up. Beni is breaking out. X-Bo is locking down on D, & adding POP. Subtracting JF & adding Cora is also KEY. It adds a young manager who can relate to ALL these guys. YES! Cora is KEY to this team's run, but without the other keys, this team still struggles to grow up.

Can we wait for Swi to play a full season in the MLB before pronouncing him "officially better" than anybody. Last night..... 1st time watching Predator with my 11 yr old Son. He is finally a man. I don't want to have to go Predator on their arsses to shut down the politics, but I will.... We're just starting to have fun with this Sox team.....
