Two for Houck. And a blast by Kike. 38 pitches for the O’s pitcher already. O’s have some hitters but it doesn’t appear like they have much pitching (or defense).

Very worried about this rotation. Health? How much left in tank? And D. I too think they’ll score but pitching and D worry me. I hope to be pleasantly surprised. The (on paper) soft schedule to start may help.

I have an MLB.TV annual sub, I am in western Canada so it’s the only way I can watch all the Sox games. It’s actually an in game option to select audio that’s different from video and it is usually pretty synced up automatically. The other way I’ve done other sports is to find an online audio source and run that thru my surround while having the video source directly into my TV. Then I usually have to pause the video for a few seconds to let the audio catch up. Once it does, good to go.

I am on here every day but don’t post much, mostly because I am not a baseball expert by any stretch, just a fan, and I don’t care for the adversarial nature of many of the discussions….that said I had to post on this. Great post and sums up my feelings perfectly. My goodness the NESN booth is atrocious this spring. Youk never shuts up. Middlebrooks is a cheerleader adding no insight. The play by play is average at best regardless of who is calling the game, and I really dislike OB (more a matter of his style than anything, it’s like he’s trying so hard to be “one of the guys” and he ends up with no chemistry with any of his color guys) so I have zero hope for this booth this year. Fortunately the baseball app allows the substitution of the radio pbp so I will be listening to Joe Castig. I sure miss Rem, Eck, and Donny O.

Sidetracked by my granddaughter who was in a cuddly mood. Good bounce back win. See ya tomorrow folks. Always like when they play Toronto because we are forced up here to watch the Rogers Sportsnet broadcast but I actually like Buck/Tabby/Shulman. I need a break from OB. g22

Totally agree. Would take 3 out of 4 on the road v Minn and a split v ChiSox. Two tough teams. Love the scrappiness of this team so far this year. Not done yet but a heck of a good start to Monday.
