  1. Not at all. ERA down to 4.32. Only 1 walk. Excellent.
  2. Houck going today against another good team. 2nd best hitting team in Carolina League. https://www.milb.com/milb/news/minor-league-baseball-prospect-roundup-games-of-july-23/c-287087848
  3. WOW! Quite a drop-off. 16th Doubt he sees the Majors this year again. Sept. maybe?
  4. Twins are a pain in the butt. That's good, keep these kids focused. Nothing is easy, and gets harder. Is not automatic when you play, no matter who.
  5. Hate to do this but including his Boston starts and Pawtucket starts Pom, has surrendered 16 HRS in 60 innings, this year. John Wasdin comes to mind when I see this.
  6. Well next start against Philly not a bad team, he keeps serving up HRS, that's a bad trend, and a very bad trend for a Reliever. Well see I guess. Including Pawtucket starts, 9 HRS, in 23 innings.
  7. Seam McAdam posted from 2014-2017 Moreland was 18-42, a .429 BA, best in baseball as a Pinch Hitter, with a minimum 40 at bats. To me stupid you always try to win. Plenty of time for rest.
  8. Agree, Pomeranz serves more meatballs then an Italian chef. He should be in Pawtucket working this crap out. It counts now.
  9. Hardly anybody steal anymore, and all 3 have outstanding arms anyway. So you better call a good game, and do good at blocking the ball. Full season at Portland Swihart had better numbers throwing out Runners then Vazquez. By the way NO passed balls that season. That injury really set him back. 2014 season for Portland Swihart was Outstanding, both on Offense and Defense. Threw out 47% of the base runners. Also most successful steal are on the Pitchers, not the Catchers.
  10. Agree, I just think its not a total win for the Yanks. Toronto did good for a Rental. Drury might come back to haunt them.
  11. Yep, sorry to hear this. I want to face the best, when we meet again. Only makes the Sox better, and pushes us against other teams.
  12. I like who Toronto got. Wish we had Drury.
  13. Johnson has a 1.80 ERA as a Starter this season for the Sox, and are they moving him to BP? That's crazy. 5.10 era as a Reliever.
  14. Oh OK. Thanks. Man, can dream. haha
  15. Montero jumped 2 Leagues in one season. This could be special stuff. When I saw him he was holding his arm, so since then hasn't Pitched, and Promoted. So must not be serious. WHEW! Last Start July 6 he pitched.
  16. This was a good call.
  17. https://www.milb.com/lowell/news/lowell-drops-second-straight/c-284611402 Went to this game and this kid looked fantastic. Come to find out the Sox promoted him up to Salem, bypassed Greenville. Even Anderson Espinoza didn't get a promotion like this. Holy s***. Here's their Roster, and there is Montero. http://www.milb.com/roster/index.jsp?sid=t414
  18. Johnson has a 1.80 era this year as a Starter.
  19. Looks like you guys are getting closer to Happ.
  20. Cracks me up, kid in Greenville has thrown 113 inning this year so far. And getting stronger.
  21. Kent so-so today. 5.1 innings, 7 hits, 4 ER's, 1 BB, 6 k's. Losing at the moment 4-2, 7th inning.
  22. We make up this game with DH on Aug. 11, no problem though, after Sundays game, we have a day off on Aug. 13. Wont stretch staff.
  23. Pomeranz is scheduled to start against Philly on Tuesday at this point.
