Mental part of the game for the last several years under Farrell has been very ? Perfect example last night vs NY in the what 13th inning or so, where Benintendi did not take 3rd on a single to RF where Judge had to go far left. AB should have been on third, Lin I believe ends up driving a ball to right center that would have won the game if no other moves were made by NY that inning. I understand mental mistakes are to be made but the amount of mistakes over the last 4 seasons has to be questioned. The talk is Frazier? How about Donaldson in Toronto? Who would be more of a spark and a much better hitter...

This is why Farrell gets a bad wrap for his in game managing. No reason not to hit JB yesterday as you said, Morelands hit should have been enough to take another shot with a lefty vs the closer.....

Betts needs to hit 3rd. Move up DP and XB. Nice to see John has not once again gone to lefty righty lefty... BUT, Get your best hitters in a batting order position where they can do some damage, Betts leading off is ?

If you look at the Yankees lineup since Game 1 of the season with a few changes here and there, the 3 4 5 hitters all are right handed batters. Farrell publicly stated before the season started he likes a lefty righty, lefty righty lineup to keep the opposing pitcher off balance. In my opinion your not putting out your best batting order on a daily basis in regards to that theory. Not to mention a rookie who has gone threw a terrible slump in the #2 and #4 positions in the order. This all started going bad Game 1 of last year's playoffs. Two biggest questionable moves by Dombrowski were retaining Farrell and trading Shaw for peanuts.. Now the attitude of Price just might have this clubhouse in turmoil... Dombrowski needs to right this ship quick and I believe the move you make is trying to deal Price if he will guarantee to opt out after next season just to get out of Boston

How about today's game in Chicago for all you arm chair managers. Why would you bring in your best setup reliever in Kelly for the 6th inning? Kelly in ten 8th inning appearances has 8K and a 0.00 era. Some might say Chicago had there best 3 hitters batting in the 6th. With a rested bullpen even if Chicago had scored, you still have 9 outs to win the game and Kelly Kimbrel for the final 2 innings... I'm not saying the move was right or wrong, I'm saying these are the types of bullpen moves Farrell has made over the years that begs the ? Is he a good or bad in game Manager
