What I want to know is whose bright idea was it to put a former Yankee player in the booth to do a Red Sox / Yankees game. What could possibly go wrong?? And then do it TWICE!

I speculated a couple of days ago that the Sox & Pedey should work out a deal where he resigns from the team and the Sox immediately hire him as a coach at the same salary. That way they'd keep him with the team and it would give some LT relief.

NFW Price gets a playoff start if I'm the manager. NFW. And if he doesn't like it he can opt out.

Price has never before allowed 4 HR's in a game. The other managers have been smart enough to pull him I guess.

As I've said before, Price is a pitcher who can get you to the playoffs but don't depend on him being able to get you out the other side.

I give up. I'm going to the radio for audio and putting up with the 20 second delay. These guys in the booth are (still) horrible.

It's time for Mr. T to lose that handle and pitch well in a big game. And this IS a big game. Even in July it's a big game.

hey, that's great! Enjoy. You may even run into my son there. He and his family are going through Washington and bought tickets for the game. You'll know him in a minute. Of the two of us he's the younger and better looking one.

I liked Don Orsillo very much but I think OB does a better job of drawing out what Jerry knows about baseball than Don did.

I was confident that he had the ball. I was just afraid he was going to drop it when he allowed it to come back down into the glove and some dumb-ass umpire would rule it 'no catch'. -
Defensive metrics only reflect career or season long numbers so they're going to make him look worse than he's playing now.
