    When an umpire makes a bad call, he should get a finger in his butt, for every 5 bad calls, he gets a full fist. its disgraceful that there is a strike zone, that isn't followed by the f***ing dumb ass umpires, and they can do whatever they want. there has been pitched in exact same f***ing spot that sometimes are strikes, sometimes are balls. f*** off

    I was thinking about this last night. If you guys were in a stressful situation and just needed someone to calm you down and give you a hug, who do you think would be the best option? I'm thinking Sandy Leon. He's a big guy and resembles and a mama bear, he could come you down, keep you warm and instantly make the situation better. I would say 2nd best option for me would be Mookie, he seems like a good guy whose down to earth, smiles and is happy and would also make a good hugging companion? What do you guys think?

    I needed to start this game thread for a very specific reason, the reason being I ate the best f***ing chocolate chip cookie ive ever had in my life. Like this s*** was better than an orgasm. Id kill to have a chocolate chip cookie that good again. So since im in such a good mood, and have some BDE, I' figured id transfer my positive vibes to the Red Sox. We may be 2-7, but were the goddamn world f***ing champions. I smell a win tomorrow. Im listening to my girl Avril Lavigne, who by the way made a great decision divorcing that dickhead from NickleBack, f*** you chad Kroeger. Anyway, David Price is pitching tomorrow for Boston vs some guy on Arizona who might be good, idk, who cares. Heres the Avril Lavigne song I was speaking off GO SOX

    The only bad part about California is there is a little too many homosexuals and the cost of living. the weather and start times for sporting events is beautiful tho except college football on Saturdays, some of those damn games start at 9 am.

    I know no one wants to mention this or think about it, but lets discuss this. If he isn't willing to re-sign, and I'm having my doubts, we almost have to trade him, right? Sale and Xander signed extensions, we have numerous other players locked up long term. I think Sox should offer Mookie a contract similar to Trout, if he says no, trade him for best available package. What do you guys think?

    ive actually grown to like a-rod since he's retired, he seems like a good dude when he's on espn broadcasts, fox, etc and he's surprisingly been good in the tv show shark tank

    So this is a story that probably isn't as big as it should be, but Kyler Murray is one of the better athletes this generation has seen. As some of you may know, he is so good at baseball that he was drafted 9TH OVERALL in the 1st round of the MLB draft over the summer. He originally has planned to play baseball, but wanted to finish out his football career at Oklahoma to prove a point to his doubters. He ended up having one of the more dominant seasons in recent CFB history. He is the front runner for Heisman, led Oklahoma to CFB playoffs and is now projected to be a 1st or 2nd round NFL draft pick. Murray has said he fully intends to play in the CFB playoffs, and fully intends to report to spring training for the A's and he'll evaluate his NFL career closer to the draft. This is an amazing story and I am very interested in this story. Is there any language in Murrays contract with the A's stopping him from playing both sports? Also, his agent is Scott Boras of course

    The Diamondbacks hired Ariz. native Dan Butler as a bullpen catcher. He's retiring as a player after 10 professional seasons that included nine MLB games with the Sox, two last season. He played parts of 8 seasons with Pawtucket. Pretty darn good for an undrafted free agent. Thanks Dan for the great career and for contributing largely to a ws ring

    even if they blow this, it wont be on price, this is specifically about david price performances, not team w-l. price did all he could and deserves props

    the red sox have a long history of fantastic players, and great performances, but how about this one. david price. he had literally sucked balls his whole post season career with 4 different teams. He had even struggled against the yankees for the majority of his career. but this post-season he came to f***ing play. 6 scoreless innings to close out the ALCS against the defending champion astros on 3 days rest. he dominated game 2 of the world series, and now, in another elimination game, david price has been absolutely unbelievable. even when jd Martinez misplayed a fly ball resulting in a freese triple, what did david price do? retire the next two batters in order, easily, and fist bumped jd Martinez almost to say "hey, I got you". I would like to eat some crow, and if possible, personally etch david prices dick into red sox history, what a performance. even if we don't win this game, he has my respect. I was wrong about price, clearly wrong. well deserved respect for david price, well deserved.
