When's the last time a pitcher invented a pitch like a 67 mph curveball, mid season, and it worked out well? This all reeks of desperation and grasping at straws. I'll be shocked silly, if this works.

The pen deserved the win, but Richards surprised me by settling down after 2 innings.

Again, I'm not doubting the sticky fingers stuff. I just said maybe that was not the only reason he has sucked, recently. His numbers before the crackdown showed some alarming issues.

I’m for cutting Andriese, yesterday. Keep Rios and bring up Houck to start for Richards. IL Richards or demote to the pen. I’d even start an opener over Andriese and seriously stretch out Whitlock- something they have not come close to doing.
