    SPer options are dwindling but some are still out there. My guess is Bloom is working the phones and will make a couple minor moves- maybe one moderate one.

    On June 7, 2021 and August 21, 2022, as well as some earlier dates in those years. Also, it’s under 2.00 since May 25th, this year. No need to be hung up on full season numbers.

    Can’t believe everything you read. After saying Cease is not on the market, so he is reportedly being shopped. I’d love to see him on the Sox, but I doubt it’s even a long shot

    When Story comes back, they will ease him into a FT role. I’d keep Chang to play SS the days Story does not.

    I think Bloom agrees with much of this, and we won't see anything major from the Sox, today. I think we trade Duvall. I think we add a marginal SP'er for a prospect or two that are not high on Bloom's list. We will not give up a major future piece for a rental. If a controllable SP'er is available, maybe.... ooops, I'm dreaming, again.

    Yes, on bereavement leave, and the AS break not too long ago, too. I wonder if the death in his family hit him hard.

    Verdugo was at .900 on May 9th (158 PAs) He's hit .686 in his last 254 PAs, not counting tonight. .457 in his last 90 PAs (since June 28th.(

    Maybe Cora needs to rest him. He's third on the team in GS and PAs, and Turner is in front of him as a primary DH.
