Don’t forget 2001. That was the biggest choke. Especially with the whole 9/11 backdrop. Imagine how that parade could have helped the city. Oh well....I’m sure the parade in Arizona was just as nice....

the lower seams on the baseball do a few different things to the advantage of offense. - the lower seams have less drag when traveling thru the air and over the fence. lower seams = longer distance travel in the air. - the lower seams have less drag when traveling to home plate from the pitchers hand. the CB will have less break. also due to grip (lack thereof) there is a greater chance for that CB to be hanging. hanging CB's = jog around the bases. - the lower seams give the pitcher less "feel". less feel means less confidence. less confidence = higher ERA. the above are all opinions of poster Slasher9 and are not authorized by TalkSox or any of TS sponsors. -

Trout is in front of him but only because of offense. I wouldn’t want anyone else playing CF for the Boston Red Sox. We are lucky we have JBj and when he is gone the hole will be glaring. Glaring.

No. I think the rocketship baseball has affected him more then the normal CFer because JBj runs to the exact spot on contact and this year that spot has changed big time. He will adapt if they continue with this ball.
