  1. Make sure you jump right back on when the Yankees score some runs
  2. A serious contender may want an experienced bat off the bench and solid backup 1bman, a trade with him involved is very much in play
  3. f*** the Yankees and f*** Yankees fans. Win.
  4. But what about erod? Oh never mind. He doesn’t wear pinstripes
  5. It’s pretty simple. Just look at when he shows up to post in game threads. It’s not really difficult to figure it out. Sure he’s not going anywhere but sure as eff I will point out blatant trolling.
  6. I mean...it was only 9 months ago. all the Red Sox celebratory babies are just being born this month......
  7. don and jerry. god i miss those 2 together. i am crying laughing right now.
  8. whenever i am feeling really down...i punch up the pizzagate clip and immediately feel better. one of the alltime greats.
  9. WTF 2, electric bugaloo
  10. a perfect reason to leave him right where he was. dont mess with mojo.
  11. NESN.com me? i think he should be a starter. DD & Cora said he would be high leverage, "traditional" closer role right from the jump. Me? if he is being demoted to the pen then I would 100% ramp him up with some low to mid leverage outings before declaring him our "closer". but then again, i am no Manager or President of Baseball Operations.
  12. we got this. gonna put up a crooked number right now.
  13. i thought it was because he is salty
  14. but he watched video of his college swing so WTF thinks he is good to go
  15. oh goodie. you popped in to say hi once we lost the lead. surely not trolling. surely just coincidence. have a nice day.
  16. so theres this... Boston Red Sox pitcher Nathan Eovaldi, currently on the injured list with an elbow injury, will be used as the team's closer as soon as he is able to return to the mound. Sources have indicated that Eovaldi will be used as, "a traditional closer," meaning he won't just be part of the committee the Red Sox have been using most of the season.
  17. i dont disagree with either of you. but DD & Cora have said more than once that EO will be the "traditional closer role" as soon as he comes off the 60 day IL. i guess i should t be surprised. there was that time when none of our players required surgeries and then 1/2 the team was under the knife within a few days.....
  18. I 100% do. but they literally said he will be the closer the moment he returns from 60 day IL. now i get that at the time they were saying it to placate a fan base that just watched our beloved team get obliterated by the hated yankees in london. but they said it. so i am holding them to it.
  19. yes? Eovaldi, normally a starting pitcher, is now expected to take over as Boston's closer after the bullpen has blown a combined 18 saves this season, a total tied for the third-most in Major League Baseball entering Saturday. Manager Alex Cora and president of baseball operations Dave Dombrowski announced that decision prior to the July 2 road game against the Toronto Blue Jays.
  20. as a closer? or when we are up 8-0? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  21. he is our closer tho? the game last night required a closer? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
