    but you do understand that our starters have not done nearly as good in 2019 vs 2018? that is the difference between us winning 90 games vs 108 games.

    i was at mets v braves friday night and found the uniforms interesting. when atlanta was in the field it looked like there was 7 infielders as the umpires wear black.

    those are still relief pitchers coming into the game? the numbers are valid. maybe next year get 5 solid starters so you dont need an "opener"? so please...keep telling us how relievers coming into the game earlier because of opener "doesn't count"...

    the Pen has been fine for the most part all year. kind of tough when you are constantly brought in to the game in the 4th or 5th inning already down 5......

    It was an awesome game. Pitchers duel 13 inning game that sent the Mets faithful home sad. The weather was perfect

    They don’t need to. At the Mets v braves game Friday night the big screen showed bWar for every batter that came up. I had to explain what it meant to every person around me including my 87 year old father who has watched a billion baseball games in his life. I would bet there were 30k people in that stadium that had zero clue what bWar meant. But when they saw a player with a higher number they instantly assumed he was the better player. Try some real life examples instead of pontificating on what you think is reality. Because you are wrong.
