    That's an idiotic statement. Although at times price has pitched like clay. So maybe you are on to something. But to say clay is better than price is kind of dumb. You may want to try another sport.

    Price was our #4 starter in the first half. Apparently wright was our ace. We had no #2 (although porcello could make a case) and no #5. But who has a solid #5? A couple teams maybe....

    wow. alot of assumptions being made in this thread about the living conditions and education of Latino players. i guess if the players were international signings from France the assumption would be they live in castles and be university educated.

    they overpaid the agents for suckier players. the agents gave the extra cash to the international players. thus circumventing the $300k max threshold....

    Outfielder Albert Guaimaro has agreed to a deal with the Marlins, outfielder Simon Muzziott signed with the Phillies for $750,000, infielder Antonio Pinero signed with the Brewers for $375,000 and infielder Eduardo Torrealba signed with the Yankees for $300,000. Torrealba has already begun his first steroids cycle under the Yankees tutelage.

    it's not like wade is pitching lights out. they are almost the same pitcher. except wade is contracted through next year. you guys are arguing which pile of poo smells worse. i say if given the choice, the Mariners would have been better of getting Clay. change of scenery, bigger ballpark...probably have a sub 4 ERA right now. so now i have chosen which poo smells worse.....

    it's his final season. definitely the GOAT. a few times this season i have thought that his voice sounded like he's ready to retire. i have had extra innings since '99 so have enjoyed dodgers broadcasts/Vin Scully for many years.

    there is a bit of a difference Kimmi. when your "Ace" is on the mound you dont expect the tone of the game to be set by: HR single BB single before a single out is made. being down 2-0 before your team even comes up to bat is what is expected from Clay Buchholz. not the "Ace".....

    show me where i said we shouldnt have signed him (Price)? show me where i said we should have signed him and traded him? that is what makes a whiner. signing Price was a no brainer. just like picking up Clays option. i am on record saying i was perfectly fine with the SP plan we had going into this season.
