i think it is because baseball is such a grind. and there is always at least 1 day off in between the end of 1 series and the start of the next. plus...it is f***ing awesome that we popped champagne in yankees stadium. again.
i would not be opposed to this. without looking at houstons splits i can envision going L-R-L-R is better than piggy backing. also, game 2 might very well be the most important game of this series so maybe go with the hot hand there.
nah. he will just be typical. the mets made a big to do about david wright "playing in his last game" a few weeks ago. yet he is still accepting his contract $$ the next couple years. the player that retires and foregoes his salary is 1 in a million. we already had that 1 a few years ago.....
the bridge was not the problem. in fact it gives those boys (barnes/braz) some confidence going into the next series. the problem was kimbrel. but he has a short memory so hopefully he gets hot again.....
