    Yup. Plus finishing the season on a duckboat. If you look at last seasons threads he was getting killed even when he was consistent at the plate for 4 months straight. If only he were trot Nixon....

    i like to wait until we have a good stretch of warm/hot weather before i panic. mid June or so if we are playing like this (inconsistent) i will start to panic. i wont stop believing until we are mathematically eliminated because in my stupid brain we are always going to turn it around and win the world series, but i will be panicking about it...

    never said "hate". also, i am one of the people that put zero and i literally mean 0 faith/belief in the 2003 test results reporting. i have never used that list to ping any ballplayer.

    no, not at all. but it will continue to be hard for me to root for said player. that was my point. i wasnt trying to come up with alternative punishments. i was simply answering your question - stating that he is continuing to reap the benefits of the cycle he did.

    This is a new small for SSS. 2 ab’s. We can dismiss the rbi single later in the game. That would be 1 AB sss. Maybe you should blame Cora for continuing to trot out this malfeasance

    yup, you have stated you would prefer to be competitive every year and let the chips fall where they may....im on record stating i will take 3 last place finishes for a parade every 4th year. i have to grin and bear it if we continue down this path....at least the tix for my annual Fenway excursion will be cheaper....silver linings

    good point. probably not much of a book on him yet. once the holes are found how does he respond? hopefully that isnt the only thing to keep our interest this summer....

    agreed. the poor start is Cora's fault. i'm not advocating to fire him at this point but a last place finish will look an awful lot like the JF era....

    yup. HS/Legion baseball the best player plays: SS, Pitch, CF. more and more we are seeing Catcher as well but SS is THE spot.

    im willing to wait for warmer weather to see how they do. patience is needed but getting very hard to do as we fall further and further behind...

    one is playing a position that demands offense (corner OF), the other is playing a defense first position and since his arrival the SP ERA has plummeted. so which 1-11 matters more? (or less?)

    so who are we ditching to get the formidable Blake Swihart into the lineup at those positions you just mentioned? devers? moreland? betts? Beni? Vaz?
